Michigan LLC Formation
Michigan is a great state to file into due to ease, cost and privacy. Michigan doesn’t require the owners of a business or a business address to be listed on the state record, meaning the forms to be filed don’t require a great deal of information to get started. Furthermore, the Annual Report is a low cost of $25 per year to file and if the business is formed after September 30th, you won’t need to file the following year. For example, a company formed in December of 2020 would owe their first report in 2022 instead of 2021. The report is due by February 15th annually otherwise.
The filing time frame for a Michigan LLC is around two weeks, according to the state.
