Texas Reinstatement
Due to the wide variety of situations leading to the forfeiture of a business, every Reinstatement is different.
A business can be forfeited for several reasons, but a few of the common ones are:
- Missed Annual State Reports
- The Registered Agent resigned
- A filing fee was not paid in a timely manner
- The business dissolved, but now has decided to do business again
How does it work?
Since each Reinstatement requires different approaches and resolutions, there’s no perfect way to approach Reinstatements as a whole. Some may require two or three filings, while some could require ten or more, depending on the age of the forfeiture. For an in depth guide on how to handle a Reinstatement situation on your own, check out Kuma Filings’ Reinstatement Guide!
If you prefer to have Kuma Filings take care of it for you. filling out the form below will allow us to begin the process of assessing what is needed to reinstate and then provide you with an estimate of cost. After that, if you would like to proceed we can then direct you to a payment form and get your reinstatement underway.
Most reinstatements take around a week to two weeks to finalize, however in some cases where the filing has to be mailed in, this time frame can lengthen based on mail delivery and state filing speeds. We aim to keep our clients as up to date as possible on estimated filing times.
